 R S Manohar, a well-known tamil film and drama artist, died early on today following a cardiac arrest. Manohar was a muti-faceted personality. He was an actor, producer, director and theatre personality.
He was 81 and is survived by his wife. He started his career in tamil films as an actor in 1951 with his first role in ‘Rajambal’. Manohar was acted in nearly 300 movies and 8,000 dramas.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha in her condolence message said that ‘Manohar’s death was an irreparable loss to the film and drama world’.
