For the last couple of months, there were nearly 20 films was released - Aathi, Paramasivan, Pasakiligal, Saravana, Dishyum, Amirtham, Idaya Thirudan, Chitthiram Pesuthadi, June R, Kodambakkam, Kalaba Kathalan, Kalvanin Kathali, Madrasi, Kovai Brothers, Nagareeka Komali and Thambi.

Among them only ‘Paramasivan’ and ‘Kalvanin Kadhali’ was gets an average opening and all the other films are failed to reach audiences. Other than this Kollywood has also met several problems like Problems between Producers and Sun TV, Red card against Vijay and a Split in Producer’s association.

So total kollywood industry is struggling very much from the starting of 2006. Who will give break for this bad time? Cinegoers in Kollywood says that Kamal’s ‘Vettayadu Villayadu’ or Selva’s ‘Pudhupettai’ will surely give such a break for Kollywood.

Let us hope that Kollywood will soon get back its lost image.
