After a very long time Vetrimaran is excited about his forthcoming film ‘Aadukalam’ where young hero Dhanush in the lead role with opposite to cute Trisha. This is the first time Dhanush and Trisha acting together. In earlier they get a chance but due to some reason they can’t able to work but now its right schedule of working together. Actually the film is based upon the true love story where the incident had happened in Madurai few years ago.

The subject of the movie is an Anglo Indian girl falling in love with roaming jobless Boy where he belongs to the low caste and what are all the problems they are facing from the society.

Dhanush has been doing many different roles but in this film he is doing the jobless, disobedient boy fighting with opponent and there are 3-4 scenes where he is fighting with his father on behalf of his love. At last how both joining together and getting into the marriage life.  G.V.Prakash is the music director for the ‘Aadukalam’ film and Sun Pictures has taken the production of this film. From March 22, 2009 onwards the film will be start rolling.
