 The most awaited film of Selvaraghavan, Pudhupettai, is released today (26-May-2006). This movie is going to break records for Dhanush. The co-artists Sonia Agarwal and Sneha are also keenly anticipating this movie’s release. Sneha is performing a different role in this movie. Pudhupettai is adding more records to its credit. It is the first Tamil movie to be filmed and released in Super 35 mm format.
Pudhupettai also brings to the Tamil film world some amazing special effects done by Prasad EFX. Mohan Krishnan, Head of the Corporate Communication says that Prasad EFX has all the new technical know-how under one roof in Chennai.
The music director of the movie, Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed and recorded the whole soundtrack in Bangkok using the Chapraya Symphony Orchestra. This is the first time the orchestra from Bangkok features in a Tamil movie.
Pudhupettai is the first film to be digitally projected by directly scanning the negative at 2K resolutions and converting them to digital projection format. Well, now that’s quite a handful of records to set with one movie!!!

Selvaraghavan has completed the shooting of ‘Pudhupettai’ and the film is ready for release. Yuvan Shankar Raja is busy in the re-recording work of ‘pudhupettai’.
Yuvan has completed the re-recording of 11 out of 14 reels. ‘We are planning to release the film both in Tamil and Telugu on May 19th’ Says Swaminathan, Producer of the film.
Sources in Kollywood says that surely Dhanush will get back his lost image after the release of ‘Pudhupettai’ and the film is sure to take a bumper opening.

 Sonai Agarwal who made her debut in Selvaraghavan’s ‘Kadhal Kondein’ and then she worked with Selva in ‘7g Rainbow Colony’. Right now She is acting in Selva’s ‘PudhuPettai’ with Dhanush as lead. ‘Pudupettai’ is the third film for Selva - Sonia combo.
Sources in Kollywood says that Sonai and Selva are loving each other and few days back a news were spreaded over about Sonia that Now a days Sonia is avoiding in acting films and she will going to marry Selva soon.
Yesterday Sonia Agarwal was participated in ‘Vettaiyadu Vilayadu’ audio release function and She denies the marriage news with selva. She also added that she had not got any intresting scripts and that was the reason for not commencing any new movies.
Currently I am acting in two films ‘Pudupettai’ with Dhanush and ‘Thiruttu Payale’, I am doing a much different characters in both the films, Says Sonia.

 Selvaraghavan is now busy in giving final touch to his ‘Pudupettai’. Shooting of the film is almost over and the film is ready for release on April 14th.
Dhanush, Sneha and Sonia Agarwal doing lead roles in the film. Yuvan scores music for the film. After ‘Pudupettai’, Selva planning to direct a telugu film with Venkatesh as the hero.
The pooja of the new film was held in Hyderabad recently. The film is titled as ‘Adavari Madalagu Ardalle Veerale’ (‘Thousand meanings for a woman’s talk’).

Selvaraghavan the Director of super hit films ‘Kadhal Kondein’ and ‘7G Rainbow Colony’, is now busy in giving final touch to his ‘Pudupettai’ with Dhanush as lead.
Vivek Oberai, the Bollywood actor met Selva last week in chennai and he wanted Selva to do the Hindi version of ‘Kadhal Kondein’ with himself as lead.
But Selva clearly explained about his position to Vivek that he have to complete ‘Pudupettai’ and one telugu film with Venkatesh. He also said to him that we will start our project by later off this year and Vivek also accepts it.
