It seems that this role was originally meant for Amitabh Bachchan, a close friend of Rajni, who fell sick and is now not in a position to give dates. So Rajinikanth and Shankar had contacted Mohanlal to star in the film. Producers feels that casting Mohanbabu might help the movie fetch a good price at Andhra Pradesh. It is not sure who would play the role. It’s a toss up between Mohanlal and Mohanbabu. |
