Jeyam Ravi’s latest release ‘Idhaya Thirudan’ was failed to get a grand opening in Chennai theatres. His last release ‘Mazhai’ also failed to achieve remarkable success in Kollywood.

Now he is struggling to regain his position in Kolywood. He is having much hope on his next release ‘Something, Something’. Trisha doing heroine role in the film.

The film is directed by Ravi’s brother Raja, who already gave two massive hits (Jayam, M.Kumaran) for him. Will Ravi get back his lost image again?

Director Charan is now busy in giving final shape to his ‘Idhaya Thirudan’ with Jeyam Ravi and Kamna as lead. The film is produced by K.Balachander under his banner Kavithalaya.

Charan’s own production ‘Aaru’ with Surya as lead and directed by Hari is doing well in all theatres. His ‘Idhaya Thirudan’ is planned to release on Pongal day itself, but due to some problems the releasing date was postponed.

Bharadwaj scores music for the film. Now the film is all set to hit the silver screen on Republic day.

Jeyam Ravi’s next release will be ‘Idhaya Thirudan’. Pushpa Kandasamy producing this film under the banner K.Balachander’s Kavithalayaa. This movie is planning to release on pongal.

But now Ravi fears that the movie may get lost in the crowd, for a number of top stars movies are scheduled for release on that same day. Vijay’s ‘Aadhi’, Ajith’s ‘Paramasivan’, Simbhu’s ‘Saravana’, Dhanush’s ‘Pudupettai’ are planning to release on pongal.

Having seen couple of flops (’Dass’ and ‘Mazhai’) Ravi doesn’t wants to take risk. Ravi asked Director Charan to release this film on Feb 14. Kamna doing Heroine role in this film.
