The most awaited film of Selvaraghavan, Pudhupettai, is released today (26-May-2006). This movie is going to break records for Dhanush. The co-artists Sonia Agarwal and Sneha are also keenly anticipating this movie’s release. Sneha is performing a different role in this movie. Pudhupettai is adding more records to its credit. It is the first Tamil movie to be filmed and released in Super 35 mm format.

Pudhupettai also brings to the Tamil film world some amazing special effects done by Prasad EFX. Mohan Krishnan, Head of the Corporate Communication says that Prasad EFX has all the new technical know-how under one roof in Chennai.

The music director of the movie, Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed and recorded the whole soundtrack in Bangkok using the Chapraya Symphony Orchestra. This is the first time the orchestra from Bangkok features in a Tamil movie.

Pudhupettai is the first film to be digitally projected by directly scanning the negative at 2K resolutions and converting them to digital projection format. Well, now that’s quite a handful of records to set with one movie!!!

Selvaraghavan has completed the shooting of ‘Pudhupettai’ and the film is ready for release. Yuvan Shankar Raja is busy in the re-recording work of ‘pudhupettai’.

Yuvan has completed the re-recording of 11 out of 14 reels. ‘We are planning to release the film both in Tamil and Telugu on May 19th’ Says Swaminathan, Producer of the film.

Sources in Kollywood says that surely Dhanush will get back his lost image after the release of ‘Pudhupettai’ and the film is sure to take a bumper opening.

Dhanush next release will be ‘Pudupettai’, directed by Selvaraghavan. Shooting for the film is almost over but Selva postponed the releasing date to April 14th.

Meanwhile Dhanush is now busy in his next film ‘Thiruvilayadal Arambam’. The film is directing by Bhupathi Pandian who already gave a hit to Dhanush (Devadaiyai Kanden) last year.

Shreya doing heroine role and Prakash Raj plays an important role in the movie. The film is producing by Vimala (Dhanush’s sister) and it is palnning to release after ‘Pudupettai’.

Dhanush’s next release is ‘Pudupettai’. He seems to be totally satisfied with the storyline and the outcome of ‘Pudupettai’. Now Dhanush planning to remix the hit songs of Superstar’s in his forthcoming movies to regain his form.

In his next film ‘Thiruvilayadal Aarambam’, he is going to remix the Rajini’s song ‘Ennama Kannu…’ from the film ‘Mr.Bharath’.

Dhanush and Prakash Raj going to perform in this song as what Rajini and Satyaraj did earlier in Mr.Bharath. The film is directing by Bhupathi Pandian and Dr.Vimala (Dhanush’s Sister) Producing it.

Dhanush is in fill confident that his ‘Pudhupettai’ will take him to much greater heights. His brother Selvaraghavan directing this film with Dhanush, Sonia Agarwal and Sneha as lead. Sneha has played the role of sex worker in this film.

Audio cassetes of this film was released few days back. Yuvan scores the music for this movie and cinematography by Arvind Krishna who already worked with selvaraghavan in Kadhal Kondein and 7g Rainbow colony.

He shot Puduppettai on Super 35 camera. This advanced technology will give better projection in cinemascope format. Puduppettai is the first south Indian film to be shotted with this camera.

Dhanush is a young talented actor, one year back he was one of the mass hero in tamil industry by giving consequently three big hits (Thulluvadho ilamai, Kadhal kondein, Thiruda Thirudi).

But after those hits his next releases (Pudhukottayilrundhu saravanan, Sullan, Dreams) are fails to acheive the remarkable success in kollywood, this makes dhanush to move into the corner place in tamil industry.
