‘Missamma’ a Telugu superhit film is going to remake in Tamil. Asin - the current heartthrob of youths has signed up for doing the female lead in this film.

After a long time, Asin has signed up for a Tamil film. Bhoomika has played Asin’s role in Telugu version and her performance was appreciated by everyone.

Director cum Actor Cheran will play the hero role in the film. Neelakanta the director of ‘Missamma’, he itself going to direct the Tamil version too.

Cheran is a happy man in Kollywood today. After giving consequently couple of hit films like ‘Autograph’ and ‘Thavamaai Thavamirundhu’. He is now all set to start is next project ‘Maayakanaadi’.

In this film he once again pairing up with a malayala actress, Navya Nair - who won National Award recently is doing female lead role. The film is going to produced by Chellamaai Celluloids Pvt. Ltd.

Illayaraja will scores music for the film. Shooting of the film will start on March 1st. The selection od other cast and crew members is under process.

Union Finance Minister P.Chidambaram watches Cheran’s ‘Thavamai Thavamirundhu’ with three of his colleagues in Sangam Theatre, Chennai.

Chidambaram took tickets and saw the movie with the audience and surprised everyone in the theatre. He and his pals saw the full movie for three hours and enjoyed it.

After seeing the film Chidambaram was toched much by the way of Cheran’s screenplay and he expressed his wish to meet Cheran and congratulate him but unfortunately the director was out of station.

Cheran’s latest release ‘Thavamaai Thavamirundhu’ was going good in all theatres. All are expecting that Cheran will win another National award for this film.

Even PMK President Ramadoss also appreciated him after seeing this movie. Cheran is celebrating his birthday today.

‘Thavamaai Thavamirundhu’ is Cheran’s recent release. He has acted and directed this film with Padmapriya as his pair. Cheran played this film in the Film Chamber for all directors on the 1st of this month.

All the directors who watched the movie were impressed very much by the way how Cheran handled the father’s and son’s relationship in this film. They were totally touched by the sentiments of the film.

Cheran as Director has done a really fantastic job. Cheran has made an excellent screenplay in this film. The talk among directors is that he is sure to get a National award for this film.

This film was planned to release on Diwali but due to some problems the release date was postponed. Now "Thavamaai Thavamirundhu" is releasing December 1st.
